Blizzard app stuck at downloading new files

I tried a dns flush, nothing. I tried resetting my router, nothing. I tried a windows system restore, nothing. I tried installing as the administrator, nothing. I ensured my firewall allowed all Blizzard applications, and ensured the blizzard setup launcher was permitted.

I tried everything on my main PC from switching to another internet to shutting down all unnecessary applications but nothing helped. I only got it to work by installing battle. My only guess is that I somehow screwed up the registry by manually deleting the battle.
