For an individual to experience the stage of anguish, he needs to have a massively strong moral drive, an outmost devotion and consciousness towards his actions as well as an ultra powerful resolve to discard his selfish needs, to sacrifice his lust and desires for the sake of making an unselfish choice that may benefit other men as a whole.
These, are the elements that I assume Sartre fails to give thought, especially in a neo-capitalistic society like today where every aspect of humanly lust and desires are commoditized, sexualized and manipulated, all for the greed and desire for financial gains.
