Google drive how to select all files for download

Not only are duplicate files annoying and messy, but they take up valuable space in your Google Drive. Since you only get 15GB free space with Google Drive, duplicates can eat away at this allowance and may eventually cause you to consider upgrading to gain more space even though you may not need to. There's a simple remedy for this issue - Duplicate Sweeper.

Duplicate Sweeper is a handy tool for your Windows PC or Mac which scans your folders and deletes duplicate files based on your preferences.

It can save you hours or even days of looking through folders and files to discover if files are duplicated and considering which ones to move. Duplicate Sweeper can quickly scan multiple folder or drives to return your duplicates. Simply select whether to keep the newest or the oldest of each duplicate to remove them automatically, or manually select which to remove.

Apparently in Google Drive, one can get to the 'manage versions' menu from this file in a list but not from the detail view of the file itself.

Following are the steps using which one can effortlessly download Google drive documents locally:. Go to www. Now, Go to the search bar and select the type of document you wish to download. Google Drive will process all selected files, and create a zip file. Google Drive download zip all the documents and download it to your default download location. Is there any way I can copy the data from the shared folders in Google Drive to my Google Drive directly, instead of downloading the data first and then moving it to Google Drive?

For a file by file copy, on Google Drive on the web, select the files that you want to copy, right click over them, then select Copy. The copies should be added to your 'My Drive'. This will select all of the files between the first file you clicked and the last file you clicked.

Both of these other options are more situational, but can be helpful to quickly select a lot of files that are right next to one another. Tap and hold on the first file you wish to select, which will place a blue check mark next to it. You can then tap on each other file you wish to select. Hold down the Ctrl key, then click each file you want to delete.

This is a fairly convenient way to upload files to the cloud quickly and efficiently.
